Overview of the campsite TUNNEL INTERNATIONAL

In the heart of the mountains of Valle d’Aosta, a stone’s throw from Switzerland, sunny and surrounded by peaks exceeding 3,000 meters, immersed in nature, in the small village of Etroubles (1280 meters above sea level) is the ideal campsite to spend your vacation in the mountains, both in summer and winter.
Its strategic location near the wide and convenient Gran San Bernardo state road, which connects Italy to Switzerland, makes it easy to access all year round and makes Camping Tunnel International the ideal base for hiking in the Aosta Valley and trekking in the beautiful G. S. Bernardo Valley on foot from the campsite, such as the « Tour du Mont Fallère, » (multilingual trekking maps and mini-guides available).
In winter, the sunny slopes of Crevacol, only 10 minutes from the campsite, can also be reached by « Skibus service, while the cross-country ski trail, with its three 18-km loops, and some of the many snowshoeing trails are within walking distance of the campsite.
The Great St. Bernard Valley is considered a paradise for ski mountaineers.
The campground is very well maintained with renovated and clean restrooms and laundry facilities, free hot showers, timed hot water, hair dryer, changing table, winter heating, coin-operated washers and dryers, and ironing facilities.
It has 95 grassy pitches all level and terraced, equipped with electricity connection where you can camp with your own tent, camper or caravan.
Possibility to stay in the comfortable Mobile Homes fully furnished and equipped with toilets and TV; in the simpler and cheaper Caravans with wooden pre-entry; in the POD® (wooden tents), an original way of vacationing and now also in the COCO SWEET, unusual functional and cozy housing units, a middle way between the tent and the mobile home suitable for a comfortable and informal stay.
Among the services offered by Camping Tunnel International, new relaxation area, summer opening, with solarium, swimming pool (mt. 8×4) and a smaller one for children; playground, table tennis, barbecue and parking. Free WI-FI.
In summer and during the holiday season, in the characteristic chalet with dehors, the small Bar-Restaurant-Pizzeria is open with take-out service as well. In the meeting room, a pleasant environment to spend evenings in the company of friends, games, books and TV are available.

Within 300 meters from the campsite: open-air museum  » À Étroubles avant toi sont passés… « , the first open-air museum in Valle d’Aosta; mini-market (20 meters from the campsite), newsagent-tobacconist, pharmacy; tourist office, bank, library, post office; sports area with tennis, soccer, volleyball, basketball, petanque, multi-purpose hall; fitness trail; bars, restaurants, pizzeria-ice cream shop, trattoria.
